What a brand-new blank model starts with: NOTHING but its own title.
Until 2026-07-25 this seeded lengthX/lengthY/lengthZ as three length parameters defaulting to 0. The justification was that apps/sketchup's host keyed a static-bake-vs-parametric-scale fallback off their ABSENCE — but that host was removed permanently, apps/web is the only one left, and nothing reads those keys at evaluate time. All they did was greet every new user with three zero-valued parameters wired to no geometry. The keys stay RESERVED in the registry (declaring lengthX requires the length method); they are simply no longer pre-declared.
No default light either (removed 2026-07-22 — a light is a visible, editable scene object, so seeding one would clutter a new model's graph with something the author never asked for). Realistic-mode shading without any authored light still isn't black: Viewport.setEnvironment's RoomEnvironment IBL fallback plus auto-exposure metering already cover that.
